Great for what it is.
I picked up a copy of this DVD because I heard that the M1 Garand film (which can be found various places online if you poke around) was some of the best instruction on the proper use of sights and the rifle sling when I was at a "Appleseed" shooting event learning to shoot like the army teaches. Having this film alone on a DVD with a searchable menu was worth the price of the DVD for me. This thing isn't going to win any awards for clear HD quality footage - the footage is grainy in parts, and the audio is sometimes a little bit unbalanced - I am sure most the original film was on 8mm or 16mm like the terrible films we watched in highschool in the 70's. But they obviously spent some time trying to restore the footage and audio because its the best/most stable version of these flicks I have seen. If you're looking to have a solid useable DVD full of great info that is easily searchable (especially the M1 Garand film), this is for you.
