Metal Inlay Techniques for Woodturning and Woodworking

Well done
He explains in detail how to do the metal inlay. He shows graphically how to fix mistakes, hand techniques and what is occuring throughout the process. Most importantly, he explains why you should not deviate from his inlay methods. If you do not have the heavy duty wood machines, you would still know how to do it by hand. It's just time consuming without the heavy duty equipment.

Nice DVD
It was clear and easy to follow, making it easy to add a new technique. Nice addition to my turing library.

Terrific DVD
I have seen Ted's turned wood pieces and I have seen him do demonstrations on various aspects of woodturning. He is thoughtul, meticulous, and very professional at his work. So it is no surprise that his DVD exhibits the same level of thought and care for his subject. The DVD is well-organized, thorough, and well-written for novice as well as seasoned woodturners. He even shows how inlays can be done on other woodworking such as drawer fronts. He covers all the topics including which tools, what types of metal powders, and what types of glue should be used - all drawn from his years experience at perfecting his technique. There is even a section on how to correct mistakes in the inlay process - something that will undoubtedly happen to any of us trying out the techniques. All in all, a very professional DVD on a complex topic.
